How hard is CloudComp to set up?

- Everything is Salesforce-native and metadata-driven, so setup is fast and reliable.
- The most important things to know before you begin are which sales data will constitute the basis for your commission calculations and you need to know your commission rules and how to do the actual math so you can configure and validate your setup.
Can I connect commissions to custom Salesforce objects?
- Yes. CloudComp’s Sales Data Foundation lets you define any Salesforce object as commissionable or quota basis.
- You’re not limited to Opportunities.
How do I control user access?
- CloudComp respects Salesforce security and sharing rules.
- Be sure that you install CloudComp for System Administrator profile only. Sales reps will not ever own their records in CloudComp.
- Ensure that each rep has a CloudComp License.
- Use the checkboxes in Quota Management and Plan Assignments to enable read-only sharing for each rep and optionally for their managers.
- When you’re ready for reps to see their own quotas and commissions in CloudComp, assign the included recipient permission sets to the reps.
- Read permission-based dynamic reports and dashboards ensure reps, managers, finance, and admins see the right data.
Do I need to maintain integrations?
- No. CloudComp runs entirely inside Salesforce.
